On Earth, humanity's development accelerated during the Industrial Age. By the end of the 20th century, they were poised to become a non-linear time-active culture. However, at the start of the 21st century, that progress stopped.
For the next ten million years, any development could have been imagined by inhabitants of the 20th century. Instead of transcending history, they became part of history. This stagnation finally ended when the Earth's sun went nova and destroyed the planet.
