House Tracolix was a Newblood House which became significant during the War. It was modern, even fashion-conscious, and had an energy that expressed itself in both the ambition that got it a place in the Ruling Houses, and the recklessness which the older Houses (correctly) predicted would lead to its downfall. The Book of the War speculated that it was in the nature of groups like Tracolix to act as catalysts for change, but be ultimately transient — able to deconstruct their society, but falling apart before they could effect lasting change. (PROSE: The Book of the War) Tracolix validated this view with its short-lived alliance with House Lolita, which manipulated Tracolix into endorsing its plan to reintegrate House Paradox, only to then have Tracolix's representative killed. (AUDIO: The Eleven Day Empire) Afterwards, Lolita replaced Tracolix as the new exemplary "modern" House, directly attempting to change House culture. (AUDIO: Words from Nine Divinities)
